How To Cancel A FinRev Lite Subscription
A FinRev Lite cancellation request can occur under the following scenarios:
- If a customer requests to cancel their FinRev Lite subscription (often after a free trial period),
- If a customer is past due on their subscription payment for more than 7 days. In this scenario, Ontraport will send a cancellation task request to HelpScout.
To cancel a FinRev Lite subscription, complete the following steps:
Ontraport Steps
- Log in Ontraport
- Go to the customer's profile
- Scroll to: Automations and Tags
- Delete the following automation tag to stop Past Due email reminders: FINREV LITE : ($49 per Month) - Controller
- Go to Purchases
- Scroll to: Subscriptions and Payment Plans
- Delete the open order
- If requested, the first subscription payment can be refunded from 'Transactions' (right click on transaction and refund)
- Go to the FinRev tab
- Change the customer’s deactivation date to today’s date
- Refresh the page and check that the FinRev Lite deactivation has been checked (this will automatically deactivate the customer's FinRev Lite account).
HelpScout Steps
- If the customer requested cancellation, send a reply confirming that it has been processed.
For Ontraport task notifications, click the link in the notification to complete the task. This will update the completion date in Ontraport.
- Notes:
- If the customer used their Black Friday offer and had an active FinRev Lite account (check the FinRev tab in Ontraport), they are not entitled to receive another free trial.
- If the customer says they never used their trial and asks for the current 6 month trial of FinRev Lite,
- Check their FinRev Lite tab to verify they did not have a FinRev Lite User ID
